An oval Euphonium in Bb, made by Vaclav Kovárik Radnice. Assumed time of manufacture is 1920-1930. The tuning slide has a pigtail; changing the tuning slide to one without that pigtail causes it to play in C. The main tube up to the bell ("anstoss") is made out of one piece, and there are several other evidents that Kovárik have made no compromises in quality.
