A Cornopean is the predecessor of te cornett. The valves are of the Stoelzel type,
the predecessor of the now common Perinette valve. This old instrument had severe
damages, but has now been restored. The Stoelzel valves are known to have a not too ideal
airflow, neverthelesss, the instrument plays well.
