Bb Echo cornett made by John Grey & Son, and the addition "Made in French factory". It has an extra valve that switches to a special echo bell, an option that was incented around year 1900, but soon disappeared as similiar effects can be obtained with insertable mutes on normal instruments. Unfortunately this bell was missing, and had to be remade when the instrument was restored, see report.
