Sleigh Bell

Bells like these were used to be placed on a horses harness when it pulled a sleigh. In snow both horses and sleighs are almost soundless, the bells warned against the moving sleigh. Bells like these are the reason for the famous Christmas song "Jingle Bells". Today horse sleighs are very rare, and many children have never heard live sleigh bells in frosty weather.
