Mellofon

An Eb mellophone K&H Kühnl. The bell points forward, that is preferred in some marching orchestras. Mellophones are most common in Northern America, but gain extension in Europe too. The length of the instrument from mouthpiece to bell is 77 cm (some 30"), this is not the total tube length, that would be some 2 meters (ca 6 feet).
